It is interesting to compare the Erdeswicke tomb today as damaged by Crowmwell’s soldiers and architects with a drawing of it in it’s original state.

“Jesus be our Spede” is the inscription on the Tenor bell at All Saints’, Sandon, which was cast in 1609.
